Chief Minister of Goa Pramod Sawant has expressed himself in favour of introducing app based tourist taxi service in Goa. All stakeholders will be taken into confidence, he said while replying to a starred question during Question Hour on day four, of the assembly session. He remarked that although a digital metre subsidy has been given to 1824 taxi operators they are not using it. It is not possible to fine taxi operators all the time, app-based taxis are the permanent solution, he opined.
