MAPUSA: Sixty-three-year-old Mapusa resident succumbed to COVID-19 infection.
According to sources, the woman from Gausawado with comorbidities was taken to District Hospital, Mapusa. The doctors on duty declared her brought dead.

The swab sample of the deceased was collected for COVID 19 testing. The report came positive.
Sources informed that the woman was sick since the last one-and-half month.
The swab samples of the family members will be collected on Monday.
Meanwhile, 13 new cases have been detected in Mapusa on Sunday which includes five in Duler, 3 in Acoi and one each in Morod, Cunchelim, Peddem and Karaswada respectively.
