Panjim: In a joint operation on Monday, the Mardol Police,
in collaboration with Mamlatdar Ponda and the Mines Department, successfully
uncovered a major sand theft operation in Khandola, shocking the local
community.

During the meticulously planned raid, authorities made a
breakthrough by confiscating a staggering 70 cubic meters of stolen sand
concealed on private property. The illicit stockpile was estimated to be worth
₹91,000, highlighting the scale of this illegal enterprise.
