PANJIM: Tiswadi Block Development Officer (BDO) Manesh Kedar has directed the Secretary of the Old Goa Panchayat to submit a detailed report within ten days on the complaint filed by Adv Aires Rodrigues against the allegedly illegal bungalow built by Power Minister Pandurang Madkaikar at Old Goa.
The BDO’s directions comes after Panchayats Deputy Director Chandrakant Shetkar had directed him to take action within four weeks on the complaint.
The Panchayat Secretary has been directed to place the matter before the fortnightly meeting of the Panchayat and to take necessary action as per the provisions of the Goa Panchayat Act, 1994.
On April 16, Rodrigues had served a legal notice on top government officials over bungalow built by Madkaikar.
