MAPUSA: Mapusa police arrested two persons from Thivim for assaulting each other on Sunday.
Mapusa police said that Ulhas Sitaram Shirodkar of Dhanva Thivim and Kalpesh Harmalkar from Madel Thivim filed a cross complaints against each other for assault.
The incident took place on Sunday morning when Kalpesh Harmalkar along with his friend went to Ulhas Shirodkar’s house and started assaulting him with punches and slaps over some old disputes between them.
In retaliation, Ulhas Shirodkar also assaulted Kalpesh.
Later, they both filed complaints in Mapusa Police station against each other. They are booked under section 341, 504, 325, 326 of IPC.
