Lourdina Rodrigues the victim was walking on the street opposite the Mohiddin petrol pump in Margao when three men came on a bike pulled her back, snatched her gold chain weighing 16 grams and worth Rs 30,000. The robbers also snatched the victim woman’s bag which had Rs 32,200 in cash.
This is the second incident of chain snatching in 4 days. The police suspect the hand of the same men in both incidents and have asked for the CCTV footage from the shops on the street.
