Panjim: Congress leaders in Goa are confident of resolving the vexed issue of sharing of Mhadei river water, with Congress coming to power in Karnataka.
GPCC President Subhash Shirodkar said that all efforts would be made to settle the issue once Congress forms its government in Karnataka.

“We would take up the issue and try to find a lasting solution to the issue of diversion of water by Karnataka from the catchment areas of Mhadei river,” he said.
