PONDA: Marcaim Nagrik Kruti Samiti President Premanand Gaude along with Marcaim and Kundaim locals on Tuesday gheraoed the Daag Ponda Water Supply Office and confronted Assistant Engineer (AE) Yashwant Mapari over irregular water supply.
The locals claimed that they are facing shortage of water supply for past one month due to which they are facing hardship. “If the situation continues we will take out a morcha at the Daag Ponda Office with hundreds of locals,” they warned.
Mapari said, “The repair work on water tank at Kundaim is in progress. As soon as we get the power connection the water supply would be restored.”
