PANJIM: Goa Football Development Council’s (GFDC) Utorda centre bagged the fair play award at Vodafone-GFDC inter-centre league 2014-15, organized by GFDC, at the recently concluded tournament at Duler stadium, Mapusa.
The Utorda GFDC centre was adopted by Alila Diwa resorts, Majorda. Besides the award, the centre also secured the most promising player in the under-13 category through Kenneth Da Costa.
The team was coached by Linnette Vaz and Joaquim Fernandes. The centre is managed by centre head Albino D’Costa. Anjulo Fernandes, Francis Morais, Ligorio Braganza, Jose Fernandes Sultan, Agnelo Pereira, Pascoal Soares and Trindade Fernandes took active part.
