MAPUSA: Unknown persons stole gold ornaments worth Rs 1.50 lakh from a house located at Canca, on Tuesday.
According to Mapusa Police, incident occurred between August 21 and 23 when the house was locked, at Pintowaddo, Verla-Canca.
One Nuzhat Ansari, lodged a complaint against unknown person for entering into her house by breaking opening the lock of the main door and decamping with gold ornaments worth Rs 1.50 lakh.
Mapusa Police have registered an offence under Section 454, 457 and 380 of Indian Penal Code against unknown persons. The police are further investigating the case.
