PANIM: The Central government has released a total of Rs 40 lakh to the State government for the implementation of the Prime Minister Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme (PMFME).
This was part of the Rs 11,028.25 lakh that was released to 35 States and Union Territories (UTs).

District Resource Person/ District Level Committee in the respective States/ UTs have been scrutinising these applications from individual micro food processing enterprises, self-help groups, farmer producer organisations and corporates for capital investments.
