CURCHOREM: Deputy Chief Minister Chandrakant (Babu) Kavlekar assured that all the interior roads under the jurisdiction of all the panchayats of Quepem Constituency will be widened and hot mixed soon.
He was speaking after commencing the work of construction of gutters and road widening at Taakwada-Adnem under Balli panchayat in the presence of Sarpanch Rajesh Fal Dessai, the officials and locals, recently.
According to Kavlekar the gutters which are constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 65 lakh would be connected to every house in the ward which was constructed under 20 Point Programme.
“Existing roads would be widening wherever possible along with the construction of gutters and later separate tenders will be floated to carpet the road with hot-mix not only in Balli panchayat jurisdiction but in all the panchayats under Quepem Constituency,” assured Kavlekar and informed that separate estimate has already been done for all the panchayats.
