MAPUSA: Hosts Saligao Sporting Club faced an early exit as they were trounced by FC Siolim by a 3-0 margin in the 14th Reira Trophy inter-village soccer tournament organised by Saligao Sporting Club, at Saligao ground, on Tuesday.
FC Siolim went into the breather with a one-goal cushion scored in the 10th minute by Vipul Pednekar who found the mark with a neat placement.
In the second-half, Salil Pombhurpekar doubled the lead in the 49th minute while Videsh Sawant netted the third goal in the 58th minute, scoring from outside the penalty box.
