PANJIM: All four doctors of Goa Medical College, who were asked for explanations with regards to research and clinical trials, have denied any financial transactions.
Days after issuing the order for explanation, Goa Medical College Dean Dr Shivanand Bandekar told Herald that the doctors have denied any wrong doing.
“All four have denied involvement and stated there were no financial transactions,” he said.
The Dean said that since the doctors have denied involvement, the institute will begin a thorough inquiry as per the orders of the government.
Four doctors, Dr Amit Dias, Dr A M Mesquita, Dr Lalita Fernandes and Dr Pradeep Naik were asked for explanation.
