The street from old Architecture college towards YMCA is forever littered with garbage. The matter has been brought to the notice of authorities but no action has been taken. Day by day the situation only worsens and rag-pickers and mendicants have made their home on Parade ground. What impression does this give to Panjim? Besides, there is church on the street.
We need to name this road as ‘Garbage Street’. Politicians always line up for naming ceremonies, I wonder how many will volunteer to inaugurate this this filthiest street in Panjim.
