PANJIM: Kadamba Transport Corporation Ltd (KTCL) shuttle service from various tourist spots to railway stations and airport; and deployment of police forces as well as executive magistrate in each taluka are among the measures taken by the State government to maintain normalcy during the remaining 24-hour nationwide strike called by All India Trade Union.
On day-one on Tuesday, various trade unions from the transport service and banks extended their support to the strike demanding implementation of the 7th central pay to all corporations and the autonomous and corporations bodies, implementation of defined pension scheme to all govt employees.
