VARCA: Heeding to the government’s clarion call for an ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Swayampurna Goem’ initiative, the Varca Village Panchayat on Saturday, launched its weekly Saturday Bazaar (market) with stalls of Goan entrepreneurs selling their homemade traditional Goan sweets and other items opposite Our Lady of Gloria Church, Varca.

There were 17 stalls of local Goan entrepreneurs all hailing from the Varca village who did brisk business on the inaugural day.
