PANJIM: Not ruling out an alliance with other political parties such as AAP and BJP, MGP MLA Sudin Dhavalikar said a final decision regarding alliance will be taken by the central committee of the committee.
Dhavalikar said that the AAP had invited MGP members to Delhi as a goodwill gesture to check out the quality of governance there. It may be recalled that Dhavalikar had praised AAP’s model of governance when he had a ‘courtesy’ visit with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in Goa.
Responding to queries from the media persons, he said that a final decision on alliance, even if it is with BJP, would be taken only after discussing the issue with the party.
He added that MGP will be contesting 12 Assembly constituencies while a decision on another six constituencies will be taken later. He said the party may back independent candidates in some other constituencies too.
