PONDA: Following an inspection of the Mardol Police outpost on Friday, Priol MLA and Cooperation Minister Govind Gaude said it would be converted into a full-fledged Police Station to cater to the need of Priol’s location population as well as the surrounding panchayats. He added that it would be inaugurated on December 19.
At the inspection, he took stock of the repair and renovation work. He added that around 3,500 square metres of land has been identified at Manguesh Vihar in Tourism Department Complex at Mangueshim and that the government officials are already planning the design of the new police station building.

He added that the suggestions from the police officials and him have been given for the same. He further announced that the tender for the same has been issue and will be opened on 24 August.
