MOIRA: Around four wooden statues were reported to have been stolen from Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Chapel at Sataporio near A A de Moira ground, Moira on Saturday. Mapusa police have registered an attempt to theft case against the unknown person/s.
The Mapusa police revealed that they were informed about the incident on Saturday evening. However, there were no signs of forced entry into the chapel.
Police have registered an offence under Section 380 of the IPC. Further investigation is in progress.
