PANJIM: Smt Sunandabai Bandodkar High School, Carambolim entered the quarter-finals of Under 17 Boys Tiswadi taluka football championship defeating Azamane High School, Neura 1-0 in the first round and St Lawrence High School 3-0 in the second round, organised by at Taleigao ground, Taleigao.
In the first match Diptesh Naik scored the lone goal against Azamane while in the second match Prashant, Shivam and Gitesh scored against St Lawrence.
Sunandabai will now meet the winners of match to be played between Sharada Mandir HS, Mira Mar and St Cruz HS, St Cruz on September 24, 10 a.m.
