CURCHOREM: Hundreds of revellers thronged Curchorem to catch a glimpse of the Carnival floats parade which commenced near the railway station and culminated at Kadamba bus stand after wending its way through the Curchorem market on Monday evening.
The floats parade, which was organized by Curchorem-Cacora Municipal Council in association with Goa Tourism, was flagged off by Quepem Deputy Collector Prashant Shirodkar.
Boby and Meera D’Silva were the King and Queen Momo and around 51 floats, including local floats, depicting Goan traditions and conveying various public interest messages wound their way through the town .
