MAPUSA: Goa Velha SC entered defeated Sanquelim 3-2 via the tie-breaker to move into the semi-finals of the Milagres Cup, organised by Milagres Sports Club, at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Thursday.
Both the teams tried their level best to find the breakthrough but the defences of either sides stood tall as the scoreboard read 0-0 at the end of the regulation time.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Goa Velha SC scored through Chatur Naik, Anthony and Nikesh Mangeshkar while Sanquelim managed to net through Ramnath Jalmi and Ritesh Amonkar.
