Navelim is a densely populated area with a mix of residential and commercial buildings but the state of infrastructure is pathetic.
Silted open drains with vegetation growing inside, exposed electrical cables, displaced drain covers and broken pavers line the pavement near the Bagayatdar Bazar and the Cremeux junction. The state of affairs there has led to minor accidents in the past, the city fathers would do well to improve the civic infrastructure of the place before things get worse.
