The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has criticised the state government for failing to deliver on its 15-day promise to repair potholes across Goa, particularly highlighting the dilapidated condition of roads in the Mandrem constituency.
AAP Mandrem President Suvarna Harmalkar and party worker Ashok Naik said that large potholes continue to make the Vai Dongar–Parsem–Tuem stretch dangerous for commuters. They accused the Public Works Department (PWD) of neglecting urgent repair work and instead focusing on road-widening projects that offer no immediate relief to daily travellers.

“The government made tall claims about fixing potholes within 15 days, but the ground reality tells a different story. Almost every road in Mandrem is filled with potholes, posing serious risks to motorists,” Harmalkar said.
AAP has demanded immediate intervention by the authorities to repair the damaged roads and ensure safe travel conditions for residents and visitors in the constituency.
