CURCHOREM: Curchorem Block of Congress Party on Saturday urged the Directorate of Education to cut down the syllabus for high and higher secondary schools for the academic year 2020-21.
In a letter submitted to the Directorate of Education through the office of Deputy Directorate of Education, Margao, the Block President stated that the availability and accessibility to the equipment needed for e-schooling is limited and not affordable by all the parents to give to their children particularly when there are two or more kids in a family.

“Many of the students are not getting the constant and non-interrupting internet facility, particularly in interior and remote areas of Sanguem, Quepem and nearby areas,” stated the Block President and urged the department to address the basic difficulties faced by the students.
