Goa to Auction Six More Mineral Blocks Next Month as Dump Clearance Enters Second Phase: CM Sawant

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has announced that 12 mineral blocks have been auctioned so far in Goa, with five already operational and four more expected to begin operations shortly. He added that six additional mineral blocks will be placed on auction next month as part of the state’s ongoing mining revival process.

Sawant further stated that consent has been granted to four companies to lift mining dumps located on private land. Meanwhile, the first phase of dump auctions carried out under the government’s dump clearance policy has been completed, and the second phase is scheduled to commence later this month.
