Police in Ambala have arrested a 31-year-old man for allegedly leaking sensitive information related to the Indian Army and Air Force to Pakistan after falling prey to an online honeytrap. The accused, Sunil, is a resident of Sabga village under the jurisdiction of Saha police station and was apprehended near the Ambala Cantonment bus stand. Officials said Sunil had been in touch with Pakistani handlers for the last six to seven months using social media platforms. Investigations revealed that he was initially contacted through a fake female Facebook profile and gradually manipulated emotionally before being lured and allegedly blackmailed. Sunil was employed by a private contractor and frequently accessed the Air Force Station, where he worked as a supervisor on construction projects across multiple military units, raising serious security concerns.
