Following an accident at the Parvem–Agonda bridge in which a foreign national reportedly fell into the river, CMC councillor Shubham Komarpant conducted a joint inspection of the site along with an Assistant Engineer of the Public Works Department (PWD) and other departmental officials. Several prominent social leaders were also present during the inspection. The accident, which occurred late on Sunday night, raised serious safety concerns among local residents. During the visit, the PWD Assistant Engineer assured that safety railings would be installed on both sides of the bridge and that reflective signboards would be placed to improve visibility, especially at night. Locals expressed gratitude to Shubham Komarpant for his prompt intervention and follow-up, despite the bridge not falling under his municipal jurisdiction.
