Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday handed over offer and appointment letters to 95 candidates selected for various posts in the Public Works Department (PWD). The appointments, which include Junior Engineers and other technical personnel, were made through the Goa Staff Selection Commission. The event was held in the presence of PWD Minister Digambar Kamat and senior officials.
Congratulating the newly appointed candidates, the Chief Minister expressed confidence that they would serve the state with dedication, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility. He said the government has strengthened the Staff Selection Commission to ensure transparent, efficient, and time-bound recruitment processes. Emphasising merit-based appointments, Sawant reiterated the government’s commitment to good governance and improving public service delivery. The newly inducted staff are expected to play a crucial role in strengthening infrastructure development and enhancing the functioning of the Public Works Department across the state.
