He pointed to an impressive crime detection rate of 87.72 per cent as evidence of effective policing. The Governor credited the Goa Police and allied enforcement agencies for their coordinated efforts in tracking and arresting offenders. He said these results demonstrate the government’s focus on preventive measures, timely investigations, and strict action against those involved in criminal activities. Reassuring citizens, the Governor emphasized that maintaining peace and public safety remains a top priority. Continuous review of security arrangements and inter-agency cooperation, he said, will further strengthen Goa’s law and order framework.
