Four years on, a senior citizen and her two daughters in Goa continue to face severe hardship as their mud house slowly crumbles. The family, living in Maina, Korgao, has been struggling without any stable income source, making daily survival extremely difficult. They said they depend largely on neighbours for food, money, and basic support, as they have little left to rely on.
Pleas to Authorities Remain Unanswered
The women claimed they have approached several government offices and local authorities multiple times over the past four years, including the panchayat, mamlatdar, and talathi. However, they allege that their repeated requests for assistance have fallen on deaf ears. With their home continuing to deteriorate, the family fears the situation could worsen, especially during the monsoon season.
They are now seeking urgent government intervention to help rebuild what remains of their collapsing house and ensure safe living conditions. The family hopes that immediate support will finally be provided so they can live with dignity and security.
