Nationalist Congress Party (SP) chief Sharad Pawar was admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune on Monday after experiencing throat-related discomfort, coughing, and fever. The veteran leader was initially treated at his residence in Baramati but was later shifted to Pune for further evaluation as symptoms persisted.
Hospital authorities said Pawar is currently under medical observation and being examined by a team of specialists who will decide the next course of treatment. Ruby Hall Clinic chief cardiologist and managing trustee Dr Parvez Grant confirmed that doctors would conduct detailed assessments before finalising treatment plans.

Pawar’s daughter and MP Supriya Sule, along with his son-in-law Sadanand Sule, are present at the hospital. Party leaders and supporters have expressed concern while awaiting further updates on the senior leader’s health.
