Maharashtra Man Found Dead After Party in Anjuna, Police Begin Probe

A 32-year-old man from Maharashtra was brought dead to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Siolim on Monday, prompting police to initiate an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding his death.

The deceased has been identified as Vikram Barkade, a resident of Maharashtra. According to police, preliminary inquiry revealed that Barkade had attended a party in Anjuna earlier. After returning to a room in Morjim, he reportedly complained of breathlessness and chest pain before collapsing.

He was rushed to PHC Siolim, where doctors declared him brought dead. Police said further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of death, and post-mortem formalities are being completed.
