A dry grass fire was reported near Manohar International Airport on Saturday afternoon, close to the venue hosting the F4 Indian Championship. According to the Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES), the blaze broke out around 2:09 pm and was caused by dry vegetation in the area. Thick smoke was seen rising near the airport premises, where preparations for the racing event are currently underway.
Fire personnel from the Headquarters station rushed to the spot after receiving the alert and managed to bring the situation under control. Officials confirmed that no injuries were reported in the incident. Authorities are continuing to monitor the area to prevent any further flare-ups.
