A scuffle broke out among inmates at Colvale Jail on Thursday, leaving one prisoner injured, officials said.
According to sources, the altercation took place inside Block 4 of the jail premises and allegedly involved inmates identified as Sagar Patil, Manthan Chari and Narayan Bhalekar.

Injured Inmate Shifted to Mapusa Hospital
Following the incident, the injured inmate was immediately shifted under police escort to the District Hospital Mapusa for medical treatment. His condition is currently reported to be stable.
Jail authorities intervened promptly to bring the situation under control and prevent further escalation within the barracks.
