A serious public health concern has emerged at the Prabhu Violetta Housing Complex, where untreated sewage discharge has reportedly led to multiple residents falling ill.
According to sources, several occupants of the residential complex in Chicalim have complained of health issues, including symptoms of diarrhoea, raising fears of contamination and unsafe living conditions.
Following the complaints, the Vasco Police have registered an offence against one individual in connection with the incident. Authorities are expected to investigate the source of the sewage discharge and determine accountability.
Residents have urged swift action to address the issue, stressing the need for immediate remedial measures to prevent further health risks and ensure proper sanitation within the complex.
