A disturbing incident has emerged from Mumbai’s Dindoshi area, where a dispute over a food bill reportedly turned violent, leaving a shopkeeper seriously injured. The incident took place on the evening of March 28 at a small fast-food outlet run by Ranjit Singh.
According to Singh, a customer identified as Lakshmidhar Malik visited the shop and ordered a samosa and a cutlet. After consuming the food, Malik allegedly began arguing, claiming he had been overcharged. Despite completing the payment through an online transaction, he reportedly continued to verbally abuse the shop owner.
Singh stated that when he asked the customer to leave the premises, the situation escalated rapidly. Malik allegedly rushed towards him and bit his finger with such force that it caused a severe injury. The shocking nature of the attack left bystanders stunned.
Following the incident, a case was registered at the local police station, and authorities have begun an investigation into the matter. Police are working to verify the sequence of events and determine further action.
In a separate and equally alarming case from Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, a 32-year-old man was brutally assaulted by unidentified attackers in the Shindewadi Phata area under Gangapur taluka. The assailants reportedly inflicted severe injuries, leaving the victim in critical condition and sparking widespread concern among residents.
Police have launched an investigation into the second incident as well, focusing on identifying the perpetrators and uncovering the motive behind the attack. Both cases have raised fresh concerns about public safety and violent crime in the region.
