Advocate Pratima Coutinho has appealed to TCP Minister Vishwajeet Rane to reject the technical approval granted by the Town and Country Planning (TCP) department in a controversial construction matter.
The demand comes after residents of Navelim (Ratwaddo) successfully secured the revocation of the construction licence through the local panchayat body.

Coutinho has urged the minister to take cognisance of the panchayat’s decision and ensure that the technical clearance is also withdrawn, thereby upholding the concerns raised by local residents.
The issue has drawn attention to the ongoing tensions between development approvals and grassroots opposition, with locals asserting their right to safeguard the character and planning norms of their area.
