Two women were booked under the Beggars Act during an enforcement drive conducted at Birla Cross in Cortalim, officials said.
During the operation, authorities also rescued two minor children who were found at the location. Following directions issued by the Child Welfare Committee, the children were shifted to a Children Protective Home for care and rehabilitation.
