In the opening match, Our Lady of Lourdes Church (A) edged past St. Joaquim Chapel by a solitary goal. Plancio emerged as the match-winner after scoring the decisive goal for the Ambaulim side.
Our Lady of Lourdes Church (B) also secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory against St. John the Baptist Church (A). Benjamin scored the lone goal to help his team progress to the next round.
In another exciting clash, Our Lady of Fatima Church (A) defeated Our Lady of Assumption Church 2-1. Messi and Crisan found the net for the winning side in a closely contested match.
Holy Spirit Church delivered a dominant display against St. Anne Church, registering a convincing 3-0 victory. Rylon starred with a brace as Margao comfortably controlled the contest.
The highest-scoring game of the day saw Our Lady of Lourdes Church (C) thrash Our Lady of Monserrate Chapel 8-0 in a one-sided encounter. Mashuen stole the spotlight with a brilliant hat-trick, while Clavin added two goals. Ashvon and Valin also contributed to the emphatic win with goals of their own.
Later in the day, St. Sebastian Chapel blanked Our Lady of Fatima Church (B) 3-0, with Shanoy Rebello delivering an impressive performance for the victorious side.
