The much-awaited BGMI 4.4 update is finally set to arrive this week, and Krafton India has officially confirmed the rollout timings for all platforms. Players across Android and iOS devices can soon experience the latest patch packed with exciting gameplay features, themed locations, and powerful abilities. The phased rollout is designed to avoid server overload and ensure a smooth downloading experience for users.
BGMI 4.4 Update Release Time
Android users will receive the update in multiple phases through the Google Play Store. The rollout begins with 30% availability at 06:30 IST, followed by 50% rollout at 09:30 IST. The complete Android rollout will finish by 11:30 IST.

For iOS users, the update will arrive simultaneously for everyone through the Apple App Store at 11:30 IST. Players who prefer downloading the APK directly from the official website can access the file from 12:30 IST onwards.
Hero’s Crown Mode and New Features
The biggest highlight of the 4.4 update is the brand-new Hero’s Crown themed mode. This mode transforms classic maps into ancient battlegrounds inspired by legendary civilizations. Popular Erangel locations such as Ruins and Ferry Pier will receive major visual overhauls with giant marble structures and temple-style architecture.
A new Floating Island called Crown’s Abode will also be introduced as a high-risk hot drop zone. Players landing there can earn an additional recall chance. The update further adds Sun Chariots, boss battles, and special rewards with top-tier loot.
New Trials and Download Process
The update introduces unique Team Honor Trials including Spartan’s Trial, Icarus’ Trial, and Achilles’ Trial. Each challenge grants temporary combat buffs and special powers.
To download the update, Android users must visit the Google Play Store and tap the update option for BGMI. iOS users can refresh the App Store updates page and install the latest version once available.
