Arshdeep Singh is once again making headlines after reportedly removing or archiving more than 200 posts from his Instagram account following a controversial IPL 2026 season.
The Punjab Kings pacer, who remains highly active on social media platforms like Instagram and Snapchat, appears to have cleaned up his profile shortly after Punjab Kings’ IPL 2026 campaign came to an end.
Fans quickly noticed that several old posts had disappeared, including his widely shared reel with Virat Kohli from the Champions Trophy 2025. At present, only around 44 posts remain visible on Arshdeep’s profile, most of which are linked to brand endorsements and promotional collaborations.
Neither Arshdeep nor Punjab Kings have officially commented on the sudden removal of posts.
While the left-arm pacer is usually known for his performances with the ball, IPL 2026 turned into a difficult season both on and off the field.
Arshdeep finished the tournament with 14 wickets in 14 matches but struggled with consistency and ended with an expensive economy rate of 10.20. However, it was not his bowling that kept him in the news throughout the season.
One of the biggest controversies emerged after a viral social media clip where Arshdeep allegedly made a racial remark involving Tilak Varma. The incident triggered massive criticism online, with many fans questioning the cricketer’s behaviour.
Another controversy followed when Arshdeep uploaded a video showing teammate Yuzvendra Chahal allegedly smoking an e-cigarette. The clip spread rapidly across social media platforms and again attracted attention towards the PBKS camp.
Following the backlash, fans began noticing changes across Arshdeep’s Instagram account, leading to speculation that the cricketer was attempting a complete social media reset after the season.
Interestingly, the final visible post on Arshdeep’s Instagram account is linked to Punjab Kings’ IPL 2026 exit. The caption simply read: “Sabar. Shukar.”
The move has sparked mixed reactions online. While some fans believe the cricketer is trying to avoid further controversy and negativity, others continue questioning the sudden disappearance of several memorable posts from his profile.
For now, Arshdeep Singh has remained silent, but his social media activity has once again become a major talking point among cricket fans after IPL 2026.
