A Delhi University assistant professor was found murdered inside her apartment in East Delhi’s Vasundhara Enclave, prompting a police investigation into the shocking incident.
The deceased, Devosmita Paul, served as an Assistant Professor at Shivaji College and lived alone at Satyam Apartments in Vasundhara Enclave. Her husband is currently residing in Bengaluru.

According to the Delhi Police, a distress call was received at the New Ashok Nagar Police Station at around 2:35 pm. The caller, identified as 49-year-old Devarati Paul, informed authorities that her sister had been found dead in the flat.
