The PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2026 Season 1 Grand Finals entered its final day on June 7, with the world’s best PUBG Mobile teams competing for the championship in Jakarta. After a dominant showing on the opening day, 4Thrives Esports continued to lead the standings, but the introduction of the Smash Rule ensured that the battle for the title remained wide open.
At the conclusion of Match 12, 4Thrives Esports sat comfortably at the top of the leaderboard with 122 points. ULF Esports occupied second place with 104 points, while FURIA Esports remained in contention with 97 points. S2G Esports and eArena shared fourth place with 83 points each, followed by TT Projects on 77 points and GOAT on 75.

Aurora Gaming accumulated 73 points, while BOOM Esports and Team Flash followed closely with 71 and 69 points respectively. Gaming Stars and Horaa Esports were tied on 59 points, while Geekay Esports, Bigetron Esports, 721 Esports and PANDUM Esports continued their efforts to climb the standings.
The Grand Finals featured six matches on the final day, beginning with Rondo before shifting to Erangel and Miramar. Every match carried significant importance as teams looked to either secure qualification under the Smash Rule or strengthen their overall points tally.
One of the biggest highlights of Day 2 was the activation of the Smash Rule format. The Match Point Threshold was determined by taking the Day 1 leader’s score and adding 10 points. Since 4Thrives Esports ended Day 1 with 82 points, the threshold was set at 92 points.
Under this system, once a team crossed the 92-point mark, they became eligible to win the championship. However, qualification alone was not enough. A team also needed to secure a Winner Winner Chicken Dinner (WWCD) in a subsequent match to be crowned champions immediately.
