Goa Congress leaders AICC Secretary and Goa In-Charge Manikrao Thakare and Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Girish Chodankar participated in a high-level meeting of Pradesh Congress Committee Presidents, AICC General Secretaries and State In-Charges held at Indira Bhavan in New Delhi.
The meeting was chaired by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and attended by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi along with AICC General Secretary (Organisation) K.C. Venugopal.
During the meeting, the party leadership reviewed strategies for strengthening the organisational structure, expanding its grassroots presence and preparing for upcoming political challenges across the country.
Senior leaders also reaffirmed the Congress party’s commitment to safeguarding the Constitution, protecting democratic institutions and addressing key public concerns, including inflation and unemployment.
The discussions further focused on empowering party workers and enhancing organisational effectiveness to strengthen the party’s outreach and engagement at the grassroots level.
The participation of Goa’s senior Congress leaders in the deliberations reflects the party’s ongoing efforts to reinforce its organisational network and align state units with the national leadership’s vision ahead of future political engagements.
