Tendulkar took to social media to stress the importance of honesty and integrity, echoing sentiments expressed earlier by Olympic champion Abhinav Bindra and Olympic medallists Nikhat Zareen and Manu Bhaker. Their statements come as demonstrations led by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) continue at Jantar Mantar, with protestors calling for reforms in the examination system.

Sharing a lesson imparted by his father, Tendulkar wrote, “Failure is okay, cheating is not. Never take shortcuts,” while advocating for a system that rewards merit, fairness and hard work over dishonest practices.
Meanwhile, former Olympic medallist Bajrang Punia visited Jantar Mantar to meet the protestors and express his support for their demands. His visit added momentum to the movement, which has drawn attention from several public figures in recent days.
