Goa Finalises 11-Temple Circuit to Boost Spiritual Tourism

The Goa Tourism Department has finalised an 11-temple circuit to strengthen spiritual and heritage tourism in the state. The selected temples were identified after consultations with local scholars, historians and temple committees, including experts Sanjeev Sardesai, Raghavendra Pai, Sawani Shetye and Giriraj Pai Vernekar. The initiative seeks to preserve and promote Goa’s rich temple traditions, cultural legacy and religious history. Officials believe the circuit will provide visitors and devotees with a structured pilgrimage experience while encouraging greater appreciation of the state’s lesser-known heritage sites and cultural landmarks.
