Large potholes across the internal roads of the Kadamba Transport Corporation (KTC) Bus Stand in Margao are creating serious inconvenience for bus drivers and thousands of daily commuters. The deteriorating road surface has made it difficult for buses to move smoothly, forcing drivers to slow down and carefully navigate the damaged stretches to avoid further vehicle damage.
Passengers are also bearing the brunt of the poor road conditions, with buses jolting over uneven surfaces while entering and leaving the bus stand. The situation worsens during the monsoon, when many potholes become filled with rainwater, concealing their depth and increasing the risk of accidents, damage to buses, and inconvenience for commuters. Frequent users of the bus stand have urged authorities to undertake immediate repairs to ensure safer and smoother travel.
