Two Class 10 students in Telangana have been taken into custody in connection with the alleged murder of their school principal, who reportedly caught them during a robbery at her home in Nalgonda.
Investigators reportedly became suspicious of the teenagers after noticing a sudden change in their lifestyle, including increased spending and a recent trip to Goa despite their limited financial means.

According to police, the principal had earlier confronted the students after cash and mobile phones were allegedly found hidden in their hostel bags.
Investigators subsequently linked the two boys to the case through the principal’s final phone call and their recent spending patterns.
Police reportedly recovered around ₹1.54 lakh in cash and the principal’s iPhone from their possession.
As both accused are minors, the case will be dealt with under the juvenile justice system.
